GOOD COMPANY. NEW TERRITORY.
Your next island.
Made for a good night around the table.
EVERY GREAT GAME STARTS SOMEWHERE.
Find your spot.
Roll for first pick. Choose a number. Settle in.
One number.
Two places to call home.
Each numbered pair on the island comes with two settlements and two connecting roads. Pick your pair, then use whichever piece colour you like.
What do the scores mean?
Production adds the dice probability of every hex touching both settlements, out of 36 possible rolls. A 6 or 8 contributes five pips; a 2 or 12 contributes one. Resource variety and number coverage matter too. These starting spots are balanced suggestions, not a guarantee of equal winning chances. Your starting hand comes from your second settlement.
YOUR TABLE. YOUR WAY.
A few house rules.
A little more balance, however you like to play.
A good starting point.
Choose your rules, then tap Apply & generate. Sharing an island preserves its terrain, numbers, and automatic starting positions. Optional separation rules are house rules; tile and number inventories follow the base game or 5–6 player extension.
Official CATAN rulebooksEvery rule is checked before your island is ready.
